Two suspects in the homicide of Francisco Rojas, former deputy of Cuautitlán Izcalli, were arrested by the Civil Guard following an operation after the crime. The circumstances of the attack are under investigation.

Two suspects related to the murder of Francisco Rojas, former local deputy and former councilman of Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico, were captured and brought before the authorities to determine their involvement in the crime that took place at the facilities of the Institute of the Registry Function of the State of Mexico (IFREM).

According to information from the municipal government, the capture of the alleged offenders was carried out by Civil Guard agents after monitoring through the C5 surveillance system. The two men in question fled on a motorcycle after Rojas's murder.

Following a report of gunfire that left a man injured, Civil Guard agents arrived at the IFREM where it was confirmed that the deceased victim was the PAN politician. The attack was direct and cost Rojas his life. An immediate operation was launched to locate the culprits, who were found traveling through several neighborhoods, including Hacienda Cuautitlán, La Alborada, and Joyas de Cuautitlán.

The alleged criminals abandoned the motorcycle they had escaped on near a shopping center in the border area of the municipalities of Cuautitlán, Tultepec, and Melchor Ocampo. However, they continued their escape on another motorcycle until they were intercepted by the authorities. At the time of their arrest, the keys to the vehicle used in the first escape were found in their possession.
